Its power is limitless and it’s ability to heal marriages, repair emotional wounds, parent effectively, and connect with the Divine cannot be described...it has to be felt. We will feel the power of listening in this class and will uncover the simple steps to make listening a second-nature skill.
The first step to healing yourself and those around you is to learn to listen. How well do you listen? And how well do others listen to you? This class will focus on the magic of listening and how to get exactly what you want from life by simply learning to hear.
The most basic of human needs is to be truly understood. Change within relationships comes from listening to your partner, your children, yourself and to the Divine. Once you know how to effectively listen, you can teach others to listen and reap the rewards.
Ogden is the co-creator and contributor to the first children’s book series that tackles the difficult topics of pornography, cell phone use and abuse, and cyber bullying. She has served on the Board of Directors for The Children’s Center in Salt Lake City and currently she serves on the Board of Directors for the Orange County High School for the Arts. She worked as a Co-Executive Director for LifeSTAR Los Angeles, a treatment program for pornography and other sexual addictions. She currently blogs about issues of faith, family and Christianity at www.exploringsainthood.org. Ogden is married and the mother of four children.
